Sejarah Teknologi Pertanian

historyZaman Mesopotamia yang merupakan awal perkembangan kebudayaan, merupakan zaman yang turut menentukan sistem pertanian kuno. Perekonomian kota yang pertama berkembang di sana dilandaskan pada teknologi pertanian yang berkiblat pada kuil-kuil, imam, lumbung, dan juru tulis-juru tulis.

Tulang punggung pertanian terdiri dari tanaman-tanaman yang sekarang masih penting untuk persediaan pangan dunia: gandum dan barlai, kurma dan ara, zaitum dan anggur. Kebudayaan kuni dari Mesopotamia - Sumeria, Babilonia, Asiria, Cahldea - mengembangkan pertanian yang bertambah kompleks dan terintegrasi. Reruntuhan menunjukkan sisa teras-teras, taman-taman dan kebun-kebun yang beririgasi. Emapt ribu tahun yang lalu saluran irigasi dari bata dengan sambungan beraspal membantu areal seluas 10.000 mil persegi tetap ditanami untuk memberi pangan 15 juta jiwa. Pada tahun 700 SM sudah dikenal 900 tanaman.

Pertanian di negara-negara maju yang kita lihat saat ini tidak bisa lepas dari peran kejayaan Mesopotamia di masa lampau tanaman seperti durum (hard wheat) dan Semolina (bahan baku spageti) berasal dari timur tengah yang dibawa oleh tentara Islam ke Eropa.

  Ketika banyak orang di Indonesia hari ini sedang di panaskan tentang hukum bagi para perokok, banyak orang yang ingin tahu seberapa besar manfaat dan mudharratnya dari rokok itu sendiri ketika NU dan Muhammadiyah sama-sama memegang prinsipnya masing-masing ketika muhammadiyah telah berani mengatakan bahwasanya merokok itu hukumnya haram hal ini sudah di telaah dari sudut pandang ekonomi, kesihatan, dan dampak kedepanya sedangkan NU masih menganggap rokok itu hukumnya makruh, karena menilai ada manfaat yang di peroleh dari rokok itu sendri dari penghasilan para petani tembakau, serta lapangan pekerjaan untuk jutaan buruh pabrik rokok, oleh karna itu marilah kawan-kawan mahasiswa mencermati tentang rokok itu sendiri dari dampak yang akan terjadi seandainya rokok itu di haramkan yang akan berdampak pada para petani tembakau dan para buruh pabrik rokok yang akan terancam kehilangan penghasilan tetapi angka kematian di indonesia yang di akibatkan oleh rokok itu jg sangat tinggi dan mungkin kawan-kawan juga sepakat bila merokok adalah jembatan emas menuju narkoba oleh karna itu marilah kita baca pendapat dari Habib Munzir Al Musawwa tentang rokok.
